Take a cruise through Egypt
Cruises are probably the best way to travel through Egypt. It's better to fly south and then travel up north with the current. There is a week long cruise from Aswan to Cairo, and there is also the four day trip between Aswan and Luxor. The cruise price includes a cabin and most meals. The ships will stop at sites like Esna with the temple of Khnum and Edfu which is the preserved Temple of Horus. You will always experience the everyday friendly culture throughout the cities.another site that you would be able to see is the Sinai Desert where biblical sites are found. Also you can explore Alexandria. There are more museums rather than attractions to see.

This would be the ideal way for me to experience Egypt. With scheduled stops, I think I could see everything I wanted to see while in the comfort a cruise would provide.

ReplyDeleteI heard about going to south first then travel up north with the current. That sounds weird at first...
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I have been on a cruise and I don't enjoy them as much as being on land and exploring myself.
