Take a cruise through Egypt

Cruises are probably the best way to travel through Egypt. It's better to fly south and then travel up north with the current. There is a week long cruise from Aswan to Cairo, and there is also the four day trip between Aswan and Luxor. The cruise price includes a cabin and most meals. The ships will stop at sites like Esna  with the temple of Khnum and Edfu which is the preserved Temple of Horus. You will always experience the everyday friendly culture throughout the cities.another site that you would be able to see is the Sinai Desert where biblical sites are found. Also you can explore Alexandria. There are more museums rather than attractions to see.

Pyramids of Egypt

Who built the Pyramids? Egyptians who lived in villages actually built the pyramids. 20,000 to 30,000 workers built the pyramids at Giza. It is believed that much of their work was done while the Nile river was flooded. Why were the pyramids built? They were built to keep the pharaohs soul sheltered. The first pyramid was an above ground burial chamber. The Cheops pyramid is the largest pyramid ever built. This pyramid has 2.3 million stones. This pyramid has 3 burial chambers. One is underground, the second is above ground and the third was the King's chamber. Pyramids are true history that you have to see for yourself!

Scorching Hot!!

Egypt's summer has intense heat and air pollution. The average temperature in Egypt during the summer is in the mid 90s and very dry. In southern Egypt it gets even hotter! When traveling to Egypt avoid the months March through May. During these months there are shifting temperatures and shifting sand. The best time to travel to Egypt is during there winter season. In the winter the temperatures only reach in the 70s and at nights it only gets in the 40s. No need to worry about rain! On average it only rains one day a month in Cairo. Weather may be a little off setting, but don't let it keep you from traveling to Egypt!

Welcome to Luxor!

Luxor is south of Cairo. There aren't many people but there but there sure is a lot to see. Luxor is called an open air museum. There is the temple of karnak. There are many singular temples here. There is also the Valley of the Kings. The valley is where some of the greatest pharaohs were buried and King Tut's tomb was discovered. All that remains here is the wall decorations, which are in excellent condition. Luxor would be best place to visit if you are wanting to see historical temples and see history with your own eyes!
