Welcome to Cairo!
Welcome to Cairo! Cairo is located on the Nile river and is a very busy city with lots to do and see! One attraction to do in this city is to visit the Egyptian Museum. This museum has some of the world's greatest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. It's home to some of the greatest pharaohs and the treasures of King Tut. Also in the city of Cairo you can visit ancient Christian Churches and experience the narrow streets of the Coptic Quarter. If you travel a little west of Cairo to Giza you will find The Three Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. These pyramids were once one of the Seven Wonders on the Ancient World and they are the only "wonder" still in existence! To travel to any of these, you want to go early, to beat the crowds and heat that follow later in the day!

Time Travel
Let's take a step back in time, over 5,000 years ago to be exact. We would be in Egypt, where pyramids are being created and the kings and queens are ruling the land. Egypt has come a long way since their beginning. They now have a government with a president who has a term of 6 years. Now Egypt has more to offer than just the pyramids, even though they are the main attractions. Another attraction in Egypt is the city of Medieval Cairo. There are churches and medieval gates along the streets. Another attraction is the Nile river. You can take a sail boat down the Nile River and relax for the day. Go, go now and visit the history of this great place!
